Roles and Responsibilities:
Review project specifications, approved drawings, method statements, ITPs, and quality requirements before commencement of work. Coordinate with the Client/Consultant, Project Manager, Construction Team, and subcontractors for all quality-related activities. Ensure cable installation is carried out according to approved cable pulling calculations, manufacturer recommendations, and project requirements. Ensure all measuring and testing equipment is properly calibrated and has valid calibration certificates. Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with the project's Quality Management System.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction, infrastructure, or HV/EHV cable projects. Previous experience in TRANSCO/TAQA transmission projects is highly preferred. Experience in 132k V–400k V cable laying and transmission projects is an advantage.
