Senior Auditor – UAE

We are looking for an experienced Senior Auditor to join our audit team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing audit engagements, supervising junior team members, and ensuring high-quality delivery in accordance with applicable auditing and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute audit engagements from planning through to completion.
  • Prepare and review audit working papers and financial statements.
  • Perform risk assessments and evaluate internal controls.
  • Identify audit issues and discuss findings with clients and management.
  • Supervise and review the work of junior audit staff.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, ISA and UAE regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in preparing management letters and audit reports.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and engagement teams.
  • Assist managers and partners with complex accounting and audit matters.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • 3–6 years of external audit experience, preferably with experience in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
  • UAE audit experience and knowledge of UAE tax/regulatory requirements would be an advantage.
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, CPA or equivalent (qualified or partly qualified) preferred.
  • Strong analytical, communication and report-writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Knowledge of Caseware
