Job Description

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles Doha as our new Kids Cub Attendant.

The Kids Club Attendant is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for children while delivering exceptional service in line with the luxury standards of the hotel. The role involves supervising children's activities, planning age-appropriate games and entertainment, ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the Kids Club facilities, and providing a memorable experience for both children and their families. The Kids Club Attendant also communicates effectively with parents, follows all health and safety procedures, and works closely with other departments to support the overall guest experience. Strong interpersonal skills, creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for working with children are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome children and families warmly while ensuring a positive arrival experience Supervise children at all times to maintain a safe and secure environment Organize and lead age-appropriate games, arts and crafts, educational activities, and recreational programs Ensure all activities are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with the hotel's luxury service standards Monitor children's well-being and respond promptly to their needs Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the Kids Club and play areas Follow health, safety, hygiene, and child safeguarding procedures at all times Communicate effectively with parents regarding activities, schedules, and any concerns Prepare activity materials and assist in planning themed events and seasonal programs Monitor and maintain inventory of toys, games, and activity supplies Report maintenance, safety, or operational issues to the appropriate department Collaborate with colleagues and other hotel departments to enhance the guest experience Ensure accurate registration, attendance, and documentation of children's participation Deliver exceptional guest service while creating memorable experiences for children and their families Support promotional activities and special events organized by the Kids Club or the hotel

Qualifications

What will you bring to this role?

Previous experience in a Kids Club, childcare, education, recreation, or hospitality environment preferred Certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education, Childcare, Hospitality, Recreation, or a related field is an advantage Genuine passion for working with children of different age groups Strong communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, patient, and energetic personality Ability to plan and facilitate creative and engaging activities Knowledge of child safety, hygiene, and safeguarding practices Basic First Aid and CPR certification is an advantage Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations Good organizational and time management skills Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage Physically able to participate in children's activities and recreational programs Embrace the Raffles brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions Foster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected Create an environment where colleagues are empowered, supported and recognized
