Job Description

Mia Mia Blocks Factory is looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician with hands-on experience in concrete block egg laying machines and crushers. The ideal candidate should have strong mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance skills, with previous work experience in the UAE, Qatar, or Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot concrete block egg laying machines and related equipment.

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on crushers, conveyors, motors, hydraulic systems, and mechanical equipment.

• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs efficiently to minimize production downtime.

• Inspect machinery regularly and identify potential mechanical issues before breakdowns occur.

• Repair and replace bearings, belts, chains, gears, hydraulic components, and other mechanical parts.

• Adjust and align machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operation.

• Assist with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of new machinery.

• Maintain proper records of maintenance, repairs, and spare parts used.

• Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure machinery is operated and maintained safely.

• Coordinate with the production team to ensure continuous and reliable plant operation.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician in a block factory, crushing plant, concrete plant, or similar industrial environment.

• Hands-on experience with egg laying block machines and/or crushers.

• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and conveyor systems.

• Ability to read basic mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Previous work experience in UAE, Qatar, or Saudi Arabia is required/preferred.

• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

• Good understanding of industrial safety practices.

Preferred Experience

Experience with concrete block production machinery, recycled aggregate plants, crushers, conveyors, and material handling equipment will be an advantage.
