MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE
To design, develop, deliver, and support robust and cost-effective robotic automation solutions aligned with flydubai corporate and IT strategies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translates business functional and non-functional requirements into technical specifications, designing robust and scalable RPA solutions that automate complex business process flows involving interaction with multiple systems, online-offline databases, and websites, ensuring high quality, and conforming to IT standards.
- Leads the central RPA Center of Excellence (CoE) in overseeing the technical design and build of complex digital solutions, including the review and approval of technical designs to ensure the proper utilization of architecture patters by software engineering teams.
- Applies expert knowledge of the low code / no-code and citizen development platforms, RPA tools, omnichannel notifications, and technical stack, along with design principles to solve complex business processes and issues, while representing software engineering in cross-business area initiatives.
- Champions automation and lean software development, conducting timely root cause analysis and extracting lessons learnt from incidents, while helping define and refine the software and data engineering playbooks for use by relevant individuals in technology.
- Leads the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high level design, partnering with cross-functional teams and drives proof-of-concepts and implementing prototypes to validate ideas.
- Leads and mentors a cross-functional team of RPA developers, business analysts, and process experts, to deliver efficient and effective automation solutions.
- Develops training programs for RPA team members and business users to enhance overall RPA capabilities.
- Develops accelerator framework and practices to improve quality of technology solutions and productivity of engineers, develops optimal technical design and high-quality code for technology products that pass the QA requirements and is production deployment ready.
- Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) for RPA projects and processes and ensure that the solutions meet the defined KPIs.
- Identifies areas for process improvement and optimization in existing RPA processes.
- Conduct regular software licenses compliance audits and optimize the license allocations by monitoring usage patterns.
- Provides critical input into the technical debt remediation strategy and execution with support from environment management, service management, infrastructure management and cyber security.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Minimum Education Level
· Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)

Professional Experience
· 6+ years of experience in Process Excellence and end to end RPA implementations using UiPath and Automation Anywhere tools
· Experience in the design and development of large scale and mission critical business applications Airline experience and working in multi culture environment is preferred
Systems Knowledge (if applicable)
· Deep understanding of RPA technologies (Automation Anywhere, UiPath) and strong programming skills (Python Scripting Preferred).
