  • Preparation of Client pitches, presentations, and proposals in a timely and professional manner.
  • Execution of a wide range of core services, including feasibility studies, highest and best use studies, operator searches, technical due diligence and valuation reports.
  • Undertaking desktop and field research into specific industry sectors (i.e. hospitality, retail, mixed-use) and markets, summarising key takeaways and project implications and formulating market-driven recommendations.
  • Developing financial projection models (either from scratch or utilizing existing models) for various real estate asset classes and commenting on overall project financial viability.
  • Leading individual projects and reviewing work produced by other team members (Junior & Senior Analysts) to ensure highest quality and output which is aligned with the scope of work, delivered on time and within budget to the expectations of the Client.
  • Responding promptly to Client needs, presenting project deliverables, attending meetings and workshops (this may require international travel).
  • Maintaining and updating industry knowledge for use in project-related work as well as in being a good representative of the firm as international experts in hotels, tourism and real estate.
  • Actively contributing to business development, revenue and strategic growth priorities.
  • Building strong and trusted relationships with Clients beyond the immediate consulting assignment.

Skills

  • Fluent English (essential) and Arabic (preferred). Other languages would be an added advantage.
  • Graduate or post graduate degree in tourism, hospitality, management, finance or economics.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in tourism/hospitality operations, development or consulting roles in similar organizations, preferably within the Middle East.
  • Well versed with report writing skills. Computer proficiency and knowledge of software applications, such as MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to articulate ideas and make recommendations in a concise and comprehensive manner.
  • Good knowledge of financial modelling and understanding of key real estate financial metrics.
