We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our team as an Inventory Assistant. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining accurate inventory records, optimizing warehouse operations, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods throughout our organization.

Responsibilities:
Assist in receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, and recording receipts accurately in inventory management systems.
Organize and label inventory items, assign storage locations, and conduct regular cycle counts and inventory audits to reconcile discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
Monitor inventory levels and stock availability, generate replenishment orders as needed, and coordinate with suppliers and purchasing teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials.
Prepare and package inventory items for outgoing shipments, verifying item codes, quantities, and destination details, and coordinating with shipping carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries.
Collaborate with warehouse staff and operations teams to optimize storage space, streamline inventory processes, and implement best practices for inventory control and management.
Conduct regular inspections of inventory storage areas, identifying and addressing any issues related to organization, cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Generate reports and analyze inventory data to track inventory movements, identify trends, and provide insights to support decision-making and improve inventory management practices.
Assist with the implementation of inventory management software, barcode scanning systems, and other technology solutions to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and visibility of inventory operations.
Respond to internal inquiries and requests for inventory information, providing support and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders as needed.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or inventory control preferred.
Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or related field preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
Proficiency in using inventory management software, Microsoft Excel, and other computer applications for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy to maintain precise inventory records, reconcile discrepancies, and identify trends or anomalies.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues, vendors, and customers.
