Summary Supervises daily activity of staff and ensures work quality and functions of the medical stores are according to the policies and procedures and in-line with the international medical stores standards. Essential Responsibilities and Duties1. Supervises and directs daily activities of the, Medical Stores staff. Establishes schedules, checks work in progress and upon completion to ensure that it meets established standards.2. Assists with scheduling of staff and assigns work to subordinate as needed to meet changing requirement. 3. Evaluates performance of staff. Counsels staff to improve performance and recommends disciplinary actions as required.4. Ensures that all equipment and supplies are available as needed and that equipment is operated and maintained properly. Ensures that employees follow safety work practices and procedures. Informs Manager, Medical Stores of problems which arise and recommends corrective actions. 5. Determines training needs and arranges any needed training. Assists with training and orientation of staff.6. Assists the Manager, Medical Stores in performing periodic and annual inventories check as required to balance quantity on hand with inventory records. 7. Ensures that adequate inventory levels of supplies are available, and initiates supply replenishment requests to anticipated needs. Initiates request for equipment repair and maintains records of these requisitions. Education Bachelor’s Degree or IPA Diploma in Hospital/Business Administration, or other related discipline is required. Experience Required Grade 8: One (1) year of relatedexperience with Bachelor’s Degree, or three (3) years with IPA Diploma isrequired. Grade 09: Three (3) year of related experience with Bachelor’s Degree is required, including two (2) years of (Grade 08) experienceis required. Other Requirements(Certificates)Saudi National Only.
