Service Market Executive

Job Purpose:

To develop the after-sales business of the workshop by introducing new customers to the workshop. Conducting market surveys regarding pricing, service packages, facilities, and other value-added services provided to the customers by other service providers. To maintain a strong rapport with customers to enhance retention. 

Essential Roles And Responsibilities:

·         Explore market opportunities and identify customers who could be approached, to discuss their requirements and establish present and future requirements to be able to meet their demand in time.

·         Generate enquiries through cold calls and other prospective means to approach potential customers

·         Establish and maintain effective business relationships with customers to sustain existing and acquire additional business.

·         Coordinate with the workshop team for effecting timely deliveries of serviced vehicles.

·         Prepare periodic reports as agreed on customer visits, call reports, performance against set KPIs to present to managerment for review and further actons

·         Maintain an up-to-date customer database and contribute towards the development of prospects list.

·         Support the service reception as and when required with receiving customer vehicles, discuss servicing/ repair needs, guide them on assessment & repair of problems/ faults and service requirements based on manufacturer recommendation and when agreed to record the requirement correctly on job card to avoid any ambiguity effecting the quality of repair

·         Upon obtaining customer confirmation, prepare clear and unambiguous work instruction for technicians to carry out the job, keeping in constant touch to ensure that work is progressing in proper manner.

·         Deliver the vehicle in most courteous manner once the job has been completed to the entire satisfaction of the customer and authorities of the workshop to ensure continuity of business.

·         Gather customer feedback and market intelligence from external sources in order to feel the pulse of the market trends, stay ahead of competition and meet customers’ needs.

·         Understand customer’s needs and plan service campaigns in coordination with Marketing department.

·         Prepare service contracts to have long term relationship with the clients.

·         Coordinate with workshop and Parts dept to address customer grievances.

·         Collection of LPO and submission of invoices to the customer

·         Establish healthy and profitable relationship by proactively communicating and following up with the existing as well as prospective customer and if they require any service attention so as to consolidate and enhance the customer base.

Job Requirement

Years Of Experience
* 2–5 years experience in automotive Trade

Education/Certification and Continued Education

·         Vocational qualification in automotive trade 

·         Diploma in Automobile Engineering or graduate
