IT Sales Executive

Job Description:

As an IT Sales Executive specializing in cybersecurity and business process automation, your primary responsibility is to drive sales and revenue growth by identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new clients while maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients. You will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our range of cybersecurity solutions and business process automation tools to meet the evolving needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Identify potential clients through research, networking, and referrals. Generate leads and build a robust pipeline of opportunities within the target market.
  • Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations. Understand their business challenges, goals, and requirements to position our solutions effectively.
  • Solution Presentation and Consultative Selling: Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and workshops to showcase the features and benefits of our cybersecurity and business process automation solutions. Offer tailored recommendations and insights to address client needs.
  • Proposal Development and Negotiation: Prepare comprehensive proposals and quotes based on client requirements. Negotiate terms and contracts to secure deals while ensuring alignment with company objectives and profitability targets.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market dynamics.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with internal teams such as product development, marketing, and customer support to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and exceptional customer experience.
  • Sales Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including leads, opportunities, contacts, and account information using CRM software. Provide regular reports and forecasts to management to track progress against targets.
  • Continuous Learning and Development: Stay abreast of advancements in cybersecurity, business process automation, and sales techniques through training, certifications, and industry events.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven track record of 1 to 3 years in IT sales, preferably in cybersecurity or business process automation.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with business process automation tools and their applications in improving operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office suite.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+, Salesforce) are a plus.
