Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of goods and materials.
• Safely and efficiently store items in designated locations within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through computerized or manual tracking systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder stock as needed to prevent shortages.
• Prepare and package items for shipping or delivery to customers or other locations.
• Perform regular stock checks and audits to identify discrepancies or damaged items.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards in the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Assist in the disposal of obsolete or damaged items following company procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill orders and maintain adequate stock levels.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report any inventory issues or irregularities to the Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
• Participate in periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.

Skills

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse procedures.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and guidelines.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
