About the role
The IT Support Specialist will provide technical assistance to staff and play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal use of our hardware and software technologies, adhering to and enforcing company IT protocols, and promptly reporting critical issues to the department head.

This role will consult with IT managers and other departments, providing IT assistance to staff and customers, training end-users on hardware and software, resolving errors, monitoring system performance, and staying updated on technological advancements. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating approachability and confidence in delivering professional support.

About you
To be considered for this role, the successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field, along with at least 1 year of experience in an IT support role. The ideal candidate will have an exceptional ability to provide technical support, in-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks, and the ability to determine IT needs and train end-users.

Proficiency in documenting processes, monitoring performance metrics, database maintenance, and system security is crucial. The candidate should demonstrate advanced knowledge of IT trends, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving technical landscapes.
