Restaurant Hygiene Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Manages the flow of operations, monitors hygiene and food safety standards in the restaurants
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Ensure the kitchen adheres to the highest standards of hygiene and safety, including HACCP and GHP protocols.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and maintain standard recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Monitor inventory and control food costs.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and update menus.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Assists in paperwork and other administrative tasks.
  • Coordinates between all company departments and the upper management of the company, while reporting to the CEO.

Skills

  • 3 years of work experience in Dubai and Sharjah
  • Knowledge of HACCP and GHP principles and certification.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to food safety.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Prior F&B experience

  • Eng lish and Ara bic proficiency
  • PIC Level 3 Certificate
