General Practitioner - Paediatrics

  • Diagnose and treat common childhood illnesses, injuries, and medical conditions. This includes both acute illnesses like infections and chronic conditions such as asthma or diabetes.
  • Conduct regular check-ups to monitor growth and development, provide vaccinations, and offer guidance on nutrition, safety, and development milestones.
  • Assess developmental milestones and provide early intervention or referrals for developmental delays or concerns.
  • Offer guidance on preventive care measures such as immunizations, screening tests, and safety precautions to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Educate parents and caregivers on various aspects of child health, including proper nutrition, hygiene, behavior management, and anticipatory guidance for age-appropriate milestones.
  • Manage chronic health conditions such as allergies, asthma, ADHD, and obesity through regular monitoring, medication management, and lifestyle interventions.
  • Coordinate care with specialists, therapists, educators, and other healthcare providers as needed for comprehensive management of complex medical conditions or developmental concerns.
  • Provide immediate care for pediatric emergencies, including injuries, allergic reactions, respiratory distress, and other acute medical conditions.
  • Offer counseling and support to children and families dealing with emotional, behavioral, or social issues, including bullying, school difficulties, and family stressors.
  • Advocate for children's health needs within the healthcare system and the community, promoting policies and practices that prioritize child well-being and access to quality healthcare services.
  • Stay updated on the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in pediatric medicine through continuing medical education (CME) activities, conferences, and peer-reviewed literature.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, treatment plans, and communications with other healthcare providers.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of pediatric healthcare services, such as patient satisfaction surveys, clinical audits, and performance improvement projects.
  • Adhere to ethical standards and legal requirements in patient care, confidentiality, informed consent, and documentation, ensuring compliance with professional codes of conduct and regulatory guidelines.


Skills

  • Must be holding MOH - UAE Evaluation Letter.
  • UAE Experience is must.
  • The ideal candidate should have minimum of 6 years of relevant experience including 2 years in UAE.
