JOB PURPOSE

Assist Senior Manager - Quality in conducting quality audits at FPI operating plants and functions. Provide assistance in customer complaints handling, root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and preparing customer satisfaction surveys.  

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Maintaining QMS, Performing Quality audits, Data Analysis, and Customer related activities:

• Maintain the database of FPI quality certifications of all plants.


• Generate alerts well in advance prior to the expiry of the validity of certificates.


• Assist in performing periodical audits at all FPIG plants.


• Periodically review Know-how documents issued by Technology for gaps and take necessary action to close the gaps.


• Periodically obtain feedback from all manufacturing locations about the implementation capability of the Technology's Know-how.


• Collect and maintain a database of all Quality control test results from all manufacturing plants.


• Periodically review the calibration logs of all manufacturing plants to ensure that all measuring, and testing equipment are calibrated in a timely manner.


• Maintain a database of product qualification tests. Generate alerts well in advance when any reconfirmation tests are due.


• Coordinate with Technology and ensure that all the necessary design qualification tests are performed successfully prior to the release of any new products.


• Assist in the implementation of improvement programs.


• Assist in performing audit analysis and non-conformity analysis.


• Provides necessary assistance to plant quality managers in the implementation of QMS and technology Know-how.


• Maintain a database of customer complaints and ensure the complaints are closed within the stipulated time by coordinating with all necessary departments.


• Ensure that the corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner.


• Collect and maintain site failure data of FPIG and ensure lessons learned are established for every site failure.

• Internal: Senior Manager - Quality, BU Quality Managers, Global HSE manager, Production Managers, P&C Business Partners, Procurement senior Manager, All Line Managers, QC Inspectors.

• The objective of this job is to assist the Senior Manager - Quality in ensuring the product, process, and service quality is realised within FPI Organisation.

Skills

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical or Quality or Chemical)

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant Quality management experience


• Certified ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ ISO 45001 Lead/ Internal auditor


• Strong working experience in fiberglass products, processes, and applications.


• Experience in carrying out internal audits.


• Experience in participating in Non-conformance investigations, sharing and implementation of lessons learned.

Job-Specific Skills:

• Ability to influence quality behaviours at all levels within an organization.


• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.


• Ability to be able to undertake detailed Inspections.


• Knowledge of the laboratory testing requirements and calibration of machines


• Knowledge of the Company's Products and Raw Material specifications


• Knowledge of the quality standards to be achieved.


• Knowledge of GRE/GRP processes


• Knowledge of the Quality Manuals and documentation processes


• Knowledge of international standards related to the product items.


• Fluency in English
