Responsibilities:

1. System Monitoring: Continuously monitor computer systems and network devices to ensure they are running smoothly.
2. Data Entry: Accurately enter data into computer systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
3. Backup and Recovery: Perform routine data backups and assist in data recovery procedures in case of system failures.
4. Hardware Maintenance: Assist in the maintenance and troubleshooting of computer hardware components, including printers, servers, and peripherals.
5. Software Operations: Execute scheduled jobs and batch processes, including system updates and software installations.
6. User Support: Provide basic technical support to end-users by resolving issues related to software, hardware, and system access.
7. Documentation: Maintain records of computer operations, including job logs, error reports, and maintenance records.
8. Security Compliance: Follow established security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure the security of computer systems.
9. Reporting: Generate reports on system performance and issues, and communicate findings to the IT team or management.
10. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to system alerts and escalate issues to appropriate teams or vendors when necessary.

Skills

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Computer Operator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
• Familiarity with data entry and basic troubleshooting.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, if required.
