Responsibilities:

1. Receive incoming shipments of materials, tools, equipment, and products.
2. Inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality, and ensure that all items are properly labeled and accounted for.
3. Record and maintain accurate inventory records using electronic or manual systems.
4. Organize and maintain the storage area to ensure efficient use of space and easy accessibility to items.
5. Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages.
6. Prepare and package items for shipment or delivery to customers or other locations.
7. Coordinate with other departments to fulfill internal orders in a timely manner.
8. Perform regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and maintain inventory accuracy.
9. Handle returns, exchanges, and damaged goods according to company policies and procedures.
10. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of hazardous materials, if applicable.
11. Assist with the implementation of inventory management software and systems, as needed.
12. Train and supervise other warehouse staff, as required.
13. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse and storage areas.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Skills

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
2. Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
3. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
5. Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
6. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and efficiently.
7. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
9. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.
10. Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to warehouse operations.
