Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, fabrication sketches, and cutting lists.
  • Measure, mark, and lay out materials using hand and power tools.
  • Cut and shape steel using gas cutting torches, grinders, shears, or CNC machines.
  • Assemble steel parts using tack welding, clamps, or fixtures before final welding.
  • Operate fabrication equipment such as bending machines, drilling machines, or punching tools.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of finished components according to specifications.
  • Inspect raw materials and completed work for defects or deviations.
  • Perform welding operations (MIG, TIG, Arc) where necessary.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and safe condition.
  • Follow all company and project-specific safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
