Senior Accountant - Intercompany

Our client, an international fashion brand is currently looking for a Senior Intercompany Accountant. The role will be reporting to Head of Accounts looking after over 20 stores and outlets. As a Senior Accountant you would be responsible for: • Cost of Goods Sold management • Management of intercompany transactions in SAP • Manage the merchandise postings and automated transactions, intercompany returns invoicing for ME region • Manage the invoice and posting for samples and returns, SAP transactions for repairs and credit notes • Coordinate with the store stock controllers • Intercompany reconciliation with all entities • Monitoring the Cost and Gross margin by stores. Support Finance Manager in all activities performed, when requested, such as but not limited to: • Complete preparation and submission of the accounting and fiscal reports, tax returns…• Monthly closings according to the local Accounting Standards and IFRS • Maintenance accurate accounting records with a high level of internal control; • Collaboration with local and Group Management regarding the creation, maintenance and the respect of Group and local accounting procedures; • Interactions with the auditors for group management reporting and statutory accounts • Support the other Finance team members when necessary; Personal abilities: • Presentation skills in order to interact efficiently with the various parts of the business; • Should be keen to make a positive contribution to the Group and should have a positive and optimistic personality and take his/ her own initiatives; • The ability to work in a changing and very dynamic environment, learning new concepts and applying information to current circumstances; • The ability to work under high time and workload pressure; • The ability to take responsibility for the tasks assigned; • The ability to have an overall overview although working with a considerable amount of detailed information; • The ability to meet all deadlines requested; • The ability to work within a small accounts team; Technical abilities • Good knowledge of the main Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); • Ideally good knowledge of SAP R3 (FI, MM) ; • Good English knowledge requested; • Ideally experience within an international retail/ luxury industry; About The Company The Adecco Group is the world's leading provider of HR solutions.
