Warehouse Staff

Responsibilities:

  1. Receiving and Inspection:
  • Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the received products against packing lists or invoices.
  • Inspect products for damages or defects and report discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
  1. Storage and Organization:
  • Safely and efficiently store products in designated warehouse locations.
  • Maintain an organized and clean warehouse space to facilitate easy access and movement of goods.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory levels and locations.
  1. Order Picking and Packing:
  • Accurately pick and pack products according to customer orders or shipping requests.
  • Prepare orders for shipment by ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks as needed.
  1. Inventory Management:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventories.
  • Update inventory records in the warehouse management system to reflect accurate stock levels.
  1. Quality Control:
  • Participate in quality control procedures to ensure that products meet company standards.
  • Report any quality issues or concerns to supervisors.
  1. Safety and Compliance:
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.


Skills

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar setting is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training can be provided).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
