On-Trade Activation Manager - Beverages

My client is a leading distributor of some of the world’s most recognized beverages brands and due to expansion they are seeking an On-Trade Activation Manager to lead a team of merchandisers and report in to the Trade Marketing Manager. Job Purpose The On-trade Activation Manager manages all on-trade operations with regards to all consumer marketing related strategies, planning and execution - The On-trade Activation Manger will ensure effective On-premise Channel Development in the Region through: Channel Strategy Create and embed yearly Channel strategies for sustainable profit growth of the the portfolio for On-trade channels based on customer insights. Channel Activation • Maintain a portfolio of consumer & customer insights by pro-actively consulting various sources of information (internal and external market research, corporate documents, regional & worldwide trends etc)• Co-develop brand activations with the marketing team by bringing consumer, customer and visibility insights to the table • Coordinate the execution of all on-premise brand activations between the warehouse, the sales team and the merchandising team • Evaluate all on-premise brand activations with a report detailing both quantitative and qualitative performance aspects of the activity and feed back results to key stakeholders • Monitor and track competitor activities Excellence in Execution Drive excellent execution by: • Merchandiser team management: prepare journey plans, organize weekly meetings, prepare executional briefs, manage reporting system and feedback to stakeholders • Ensuring implementation of merchandising guidelines per channel Event Management Full ownership of event management including: • Event calendar management • Work with third parties and event merchandiser in the run up to events & supervise delivery and installation relevant materials • Coordinate on-site logistical support, assuring correct execution and adherence to brand image • Evaluate execution and effectiveness (brand KPIs and ROI) with report and share with key stakeholders • Event equipment asset and allocation management • Event administration and budget management To be considered for this position you will have at least 3 years experience in Trade Marketing within FMCG environment.
