Because for you it’s the beginning. DGF Dubai has an opening for a Key Accounts Manager in Sales & Marketing Team. You will be responsible to achieve a sustainable and profitable growth for the company through managing an assigned number of CSI and MNC customers, maintaining a long-term relationship and maximizing sales opportunities. The person will also identify and close new business opportunities within the CSI / MNC customer sector.

In this Key Account Manager position, you will:


  1. Plan and manage assigned key accounts.
  2. Win, retain and develop Strategic Customers.
  3. Manage relationship of a defined number of CSI/MNC and SC customers and prospects in a   particular sector (serves as primary contact for the customer; coordinate the account e.g. with   regards to Trade Lane involvement).
  4. Seek and prospect for Strategic Customer targets to win new customers.
  5. Ensure that Key Account activities are aligned with global/regional sector strategy.
  6. Deliver the regional and/or country customer budget by maintaining a healthy pipeline, good
    contractual performance and proactive solution selling.
  7. Work on regional customer initiatives and for implementing global business plan contents.
  8. Collect relevant customer information for the RFI/RFP/RFQ and prepares documents for customer implementation to ensure proper operational handover and implementation to meet customer expectations (SLA's & SOP's).
  9. Update management executive sponsors at regular intervals, ensuring they have an awareness of business-critical issues.
  10. Execute global/regional sector strategy on country level (as aligned with global sector structure).
  11. Gather customer and market information to update Product and Trade Lane on current conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Post Graduate degree preferably in business administration
 

Years experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales / key account management
  • Deep knowledge of the forwarding industry and on DGF products (AFR/OFR,IWS) and business models.
 

Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of the forwarding industry and on DGF products (AFR/OFR,IWS) and business models.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Conceptual thinking and analytical skills
  • Fluent in English verbal/written communication
