Digital Marketing & Ecommerce Specialist

Our client is a well-established B2B and B2C automotive retailer and distributor. We are hiring a UAE experienced digital marketing and e-commerce specialist to join their Dubai head office. The role is responsible for developing and implementing marketing and e-commerce strategies and campaigns to increase B2B and B2C customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. The role is responsible for managing projects related to product listings, inventory management, SEO optimization, website testing and maintenance. In parallel, the role is responsible for driving profitable growth of the online business, whilst ensuring a best-in-class shopping experience for all online customers. Candidates must have a proven track record of scaling digital marketing and e-commerce through data driven performance marketing. Role Summary

  • Develop and execute digital and e-commerce marketing strategies: create and implement comprehensive digital and performance marketing strategies with a primary focus on social media and e-commerce platforms whilst maintaining a consistent brand message across all digital and e-commerce platforms.
  • Content strategy – execute a comprehensive content strategy in line with the Company’s brand – social media content, blog posts, email campaigns videos and one-voice product descriptions.
  • Develop and execute performance marketing: drive performance marketing initiatives to optimize customer acquisition and retention – manage social media and paid advertising campaigns (PPC);, understanding the voice of the customer, campaign testing and optimization.
  • Develop effective organic marketing through search engine optimization (SEO) presence based on in-depth knowledge of customer journeys and life cycles.
  • Develop engaging social media content to showcase products, promotions and new product launches.
  • Data analysis and reporting – leverage analytical tools to track campaign effectiveness and analyze data to identify areas of improvement; report on marketing campaign performance and optimize campaigns to maximize ROI.
  • Ensure products are professionally merchandised to drive incremental sales and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the website developers to improve website functionality and e-commerce customer experience.
  • Development, release and maintenance of the e-commerce platform utilizing Shopify.
  • Execute and mange day-to-day online operations related to e-commerce with a focus on operating metrics and key performance drivers such as: website traffic, average order value (AOV), conversion, opt-ins, new buyers, repeat buyers, sales and units per order.
  • Develop and manage e-commerce - online assortment, promotions, price management, stock, UI / UX and CRM.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
  • 5 – 10 years’ digital and e-commerce marketing experience with a strong focus on PPC and social media advertising, SEO and email and affiliate marketing.
  • Ability to write accurate and compelling product descriptions that highlight key features, benefits,unique selling points and price.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen with strong analytic capabilities to make data driven decisions based on data analysis and trends.
  • Deep experience in email marketing automation, database segmentation and Google Analytics / Adobe Analytics.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and web mark-up languages would be a strong advantage.
Candidate Profile
  • Currently living in the United Arab Emirates – must be able to work in Dubai.
  • Fluent in English – must be able to write and speak grammatically correct English.
  • Professional appearance and work ethic; can work cross functionally and communicate well.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree is mandatory
