Senior Accountant

  1. Financial Management:
  • Overseeing all aspects of financial accounting and reporting for the company's projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Managing the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations for improving profitability and efficiency.


  1. Project Accounting:
  • Establishing and maintaining project accounting processes within SAP Business One.
  • Tracking project costs, revenues, and profitability.
  • Collaborating with project managers to ensure accurate project cost allocation and billing.
  • Reviewing project contracts and agreements to ensure accurate financial recording and reporting.


  1. Cost Control:
  • Monitoring project costs and expenses to identify variances and potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Implementing and maintaining cost control measures to ensure projects stay within budget.
  • Conducting regular cost analysis and reporting to stakeholders.


  1. Internal Controls:
  • Implementing and monitoring internal controls within SAP Business One to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
  • Conducting periodic audits of financial processes and transactions.
  • Recommending and implementing improvements to internal controls as needed.


  1. System Administration:
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for SAP Business One-related inquiries and support.
  • Providing training and support to staff members on the use of SAP Business One for project accounting and financial management.
  • Collaborating with IT and system administrators to ensure the smooth operation and optimization of SAP Business One for the company's needs.


  1. Reporting and Analysis:
  • Generating and distributing regular financial reports to stakeholders, including project performance reports, variance analysis, and KPIs.
  • Conducting ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management.
  • Presenting financial information and insights to management and project teams.


  1. Continuous Improvement:
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance and project accounting functions.
  • Participating in cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements or process changes.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends, best practices, and updates to SAP Business One functionality


Skills

  • Bachelor's degree holder with a proven track record of academic or work experience in the Finance sector.
  • Expertise in handling financial activities by implementing the latest management and cost reduction trends.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in partnership management and inter-department coordination.
  • Adept in data analysis, interpretation, and use of modern accounting techniques.

  • Experience in the field of project management / contracting 
  • Qualified Microsoft Suite professional with a proven track record of implementing technology in financial tasks.
