Salary: AED 14,000 + Employment visa + Medical insurance ( family )
Overview:
An IT Buyer, ( Purchasing Agent ), will play a critical role in procuring technology-related goods, services, and equipment for an organization's IT operations by ensuring that the right technology solutions are acquired efficiently to support the organization's goals.
Responsibilities:
Vendor Selection and Negotiation:
- Research and evaluate potential vendors based on factors such as product quality, pricing, reliability, and service.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals.
- Ensure timely replacements, upgrades, and disposal of outdated equipment.
Procurement Process:
- Process requisitions from various departments for IT-related purchases.
- Update management on the status of orders and delivery timelines.
Technology Trends and Market Awareness:
- Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and market dynamics.
- Understand how new solutions can enhance the organization's IT capabilities.
Risk Assessment and Compliance:
- Assess risks related to technology purchases (e.g., compatibility, security, legal compliance).
- Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with IT teams, department heads, and stakeholders to determine procurement needs.
- Align technology purchases with organizational goals.
