​Charterhouse is currently working in partnership with an award-winning international Architecture and Engineering firm, who have designed many globally recognisable buildings. Our client is looking to hire a technically experienced BIM/CAD Specialist with a strong background working in a similar position within an international architect firm.

About the role
The BIM/CAD Specialist will be focusing on creating drawings using CAD, BIM, Revit and 3D modelling. The role would also require creating 3D models for all stakeholders, including creating Navisworks or Synchro animations by linking models to project schedules.

The role requires a skilled and detailed individual with a solid understanding of all relevant software packages and experience managing multiple and large-scale projects, while ensuring the highest level of creations at all times. The Specialist will be confident in preparing and formatting presentations as well as providing the projects team with the most up to date changes and developments.

A key aspect of the role will be revising and updating the design and production of projects to ensure a seamless delivery of briefs, by providing detailed drawings and having the ability to read rough sketches.

The role is based in Dubai Design district, reporting to the CEO, Lead Architect and lead engineer.

About you
To be considered for the role, the successful candidate must be highly organised with an accurate attention to details, an ability to multitask and work towards tight deadlines. The role requires an ability to create and understand technical plans, proficiency in using all tools of Revit, AutoCAD 2D and 3D, inventor is a plus. Expertise in 3D, Adobe CS Suite and MS Office and knowledge of 3D Max and Rhino would be an advantage. Excellent communication skills in English is mandatory.
