Purpose and Scope

To visit clients and customers, prepare/submit competitive offer, follow-up of enquires, generate new businesses, and establish good relationship with current and future principals.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

•      Identify and research potential customers and target markets across UAE

•      Generate leads through various methods, such as cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research.

•      Qualify leads to determine their potential as prospective customers.

•      Conduct presentations to prospective clients, showcasing company’s principals.

•      Demonstrate the value proposition of the products/services and how it meets the client’s requirements.

•      Build strong relationships with clients by understanding their business objectives, challenges, and requirements.

•      Act as a trusted advisor and consultant to clients, providing insights and recommendations to help them achieve their goals.

•      Prepare and present proposals and quotes to potential clients.

•      Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions to reach mutually beneficial agreements.

•      Address any objections or concerns raised by clients and provide clarification or additional information as needed.

•      Ensure compliance to all relevant QHSE procedures and controls across the company to guarantee employee safety, health, legislative compliance, delivery of high- quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

•      Any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Job Specifications

 

1.    Qualification, Knowledge, Experience

a)   Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering

 

2.    Experience (minimum preferred)

a)   Minimum 8+ years of experience selling products/services in UAE (offshore & onshore) especially with ADNOC.

 

Technical Requirements

•      Strong knowledge of digitalization, engineering consultancy services, inspections, plant operations & maintenance works, information systems & technology, valves & accessories, lighting & fittings, coating materials and fireproofing equipment, plant elements & accessories, packages, systems & units, automation systems, pressure and measuring instruments, boilers & static equipment, pipe & fittings, software.

•      Excellent data interpretation skills and good understanding of financial reporting.

•      Familiarity with the UAE business landscape

•      Proficiency in sales techniques and strategies for equipment trading.

•      Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications of related products/services.

•      Competency in preparing and delivering complex sales proposals.
