Communications / Administrative Coordinator with Graphic Design Skills

This dynamic, multi-task role in the contemporary arts includes administrative, communications, and graphic design work. The candidate must have very good English writing skills. Please note this is a remote position, so you will be working from home. Therefore, good internet and a quiet space to focus and work is a must, without these requirements do not apply. You also must have a decent laptop to work on.

Specific duties & responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Admin:

- Updating the internal art system with inventory inputs such as price, size, and editions, as well as creating invoices on the internal art system (Art logic) for clients.

Management of monthly correspondence to artists such as inventory, payouts, updates on sales, and comprehensive weekly reports to the director.

- Storing all paid-out invoices to suppliers and recording accounts. Please note the accountant will take care of all inputs but all information for the accountant should be gathered by the candidate every month.

Provide support to the director, assisting with tasks such as (but not limited to) research, client catalog , picking up and dropping off artworks, attending project sites.

- Coordinate and maintain the annual art calendar in conjunction with the director's

Graphic Design:

Making art presentations, Exhibition flyers, and catalogs under the supervision of the director, you must be quick yet skilled in graphic design.

Communication :

- Digital Communations : Curate, share, schedule, and publish digital content on social media platforms.

-Work actively with social media to provide local content as needed.

-Actively follow up with clients and liaise with the artists and the director.



Experience:

Working in Dubai : 2 years (Preferred)

Admin works: 3 years (Required)

Graphic Design: 2 years (Preferred)


Language: Proficient in English

Salary: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

The Candidate


- Graphic Design skills are a must.

- Must have at least 3 years of experience as an administrative assistant or project coordinator.

- Fluency in written and verbal English is essential with further languages advantageous

- A basic understanding of the art and luxury markets

- Must be very organized and punctual.

- Must be tech savvy to work with most applications such as Microsoft, Keynote, Photoshop, Canva, Google Calendar, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.

- Exceptional in-person client service and communication skills.

- A good problem solver with the ability to seek continuous improvement

- Ability to multitask effectively, prioritize own workload, and meet deadlines.

- Logical thinker, excellent attention to detail, and organization skills

- Ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative team

- Excellent time management and ability to remain calm under pressure

- Ability to learn The Mine's internal systems and strong Office 365 knowledge
