Responsibilities:
- Manages the flow of operations, monitors hygiene and food safety standards in the restaurants
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Ensure the kitchen adheres to the highest standards of hygiene and safety, including HACCP and GHP protocols.
- Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and maintain standard recipes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Monitor inventory and control food costs.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and update menus.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Assists in paperwork and other administrative tasks.
- Coordinates between all company departments and the upper management of the company, while reporting to the CEO.
Skills
- 3 years of work experience in Dubai and Sharjah
- Knowledge of HACCP and GHP principles and certification.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to food safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
