Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop, monitor, and manage the company’s financial planning and budgeting processes. Provide detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  2. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to senior management and stakeholders.
  3. Budget Management: Oversee the preparation of the annual budget, track actual performance against budget, and provide variance analysis.
  4. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow to ensure liquidity and optimize working capital.
  5. Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements. Coordinate with external auditors during audits.
  6. Internal Controls: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.
  7. Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  8. Cost Control: Evaluate and manage the company’s expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve profitability.
  9. Tax Planning and Management: Oversee tax planning and compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.
  10. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  11. System Implementation: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and software to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
  12. Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance and strategic recommendations to the executive team and other stakeholders.


Skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar role (specific years may vary based on position level).
  • Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in financial management.
