We are hiring a #Logistics_Specialist for one of the leading multinational corporation's value-added Distributors for leading brands in the Middle East, incorporated in 1983 and Headquartered in Riyadh.

•To coordinate the clearance of the shipments in Air & Dry ports & prepare the clearance documents before shipment arrives.
•To Arrange transportation from custom to warehouse & make sure that the shipment is received at the warehouse.
•Coordinate with assigned custom brokers, frat forwarders & logistic supervisor for updating all paper works prior to clearance.
•To arrange any necessarily clearance document needed by customs and SFDA
•Clear the shipment on time to avid demurrages charges.
•Maintaining register of outgoing and incoming correspondence and other documents as directed.
•Keeping departmental records, processing forms, clerical duties photocopying.
•Complies and calculates information and data for routine reports, preparation of routine reports for review bay superior, assists in operational matters.
•Compiles the Daily Logistics Activity Reports.
•Creation and compilation of reports as directed. 
•Monitor carrier performance and handle performance issues and concerns within capability
•Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery
•Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics, imports or exports or customer issues and refer to manager if and when required
•Review opportunities for savings by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the logistics process
•Maintain performance metrics and reports in order to provide meaningful logistics information and as a means of measuring and evaluating performance
•Develop and maintain strong relationships with all involved in the logistics/Shipping process
•Provide reports to outlining issues such as tracking, delivery times, costs etc.
•Ensure compliance with KSA import/export •regulations/customs regulations and safe handling of material
•Monitor Supplier/customer packaging to ensure quality of goods during transportation.
•Monitor accuracy of labelling process to ensure correct parts/finished assemblies reach correct customers on time.
