Cheera Bites , Coffee & Tales  is seeking a qualified Head Barista to join our team. This Head Barista will oversee and manage all aspects of coffee and barista staff following our mission and vision. Additionally, the Head Barista will be closely involved in the development and evolution of the cafe in collaboration with other staff members.

job responsibilities:

– Be capable of completing and overseeing all daily operations of the bar.

– Oversee all barista employees, including: performance and pay reviews, job descriptions and responsibilities, training and continuing education, discipline and commendation.

– Management of baristas: customer service, preparation and presentation of beverages and information, operational procedures, merchandising.

– Cultivate a professional, friendly, efficient work environment
 

Additional responsibilities include:

– Proactive training staff to maintain and uphold all company and café policies.

– Actively work toward creating a superlative café experience through: customer service, beverage preparation and presentation, in-store marketing, and upkeep of the physical space.

– Ensure all projects and responsibilities are completed in a timely, efficient manner.

– Handle customer complaints with professionalism.

– Schedule: create the schedule, manage time off requests, ensure the bar is properly staffed.

– Proactively solve problems and make decisions that benefit the café and company.
