The goal is to provide a seamless flow of information throughout the company, considering both backend data structure and frontend accessibility for end-users.Accountabilities And DutiesResponsible for the evaluation of database software purchases.Supervising modifications to any existing database software to meet the needs of their employer.Responsible for maintaining the integrity and performance of company databases.Guaranteeing that data is stored securely and optimally.Informing end users of changes in databases and train them to utilize systems.Ensuring the security of company data.Designing and implementing databases in accordance to end users information needs and views.Using high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup data.Minimizing database downtime and managing parameters to provide fast query responses.Providing proactive and reactive data management support and training to users.Determining, enforcing and documenting database policies, procedures and standards.Performing tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity.Monitoring database performance, implementing changes and applying new patches and versions when required.Key Results Areas Proper troubleshooting Supporting the application with high quality Fast response to customers requirements Proper documentationExperience and Qualifications Required:Bachelor degree in Computer Science, or equivalent.Minimum 3+ years of experience in database administration. Previous experience with DBA case tools (frontend/backend) and third party tools. Familiarity with programming languages API.
