SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Join our team as a Warehouse Supervisor and play a pivotal role in managing the daily operations of our state-of-the-art warehouse. You'll be responsible for overseeing storage in a rack system, using Material Handling Equipment (MHEs), and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse. With your expertise in inventory control using a Warehouse Management System (WMS), staff management, and safety compliance, you'll help us achieve our productivity goals and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction by keeping accurate records by using warehouse location barcodes and Personal Digital Assistance (PDA) scanning devices.
In this role, you'll demonstrate your problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational challenges promptly. You'll have the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and operational requirements. With your strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management, you'll ensure that our warehouse runs like clockwork. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands, and your analytical mindset will enable you to analyze data and identify trends to drive continuous improvement.
Based at our new Factory in the industrial zone at the 10th of Ramadan area, you'll report to the Warehouse & Distribution Manager and lead a team of 55 dedicated professionals. This is an exciting opportunity to advance your career and make a real impact in a dynamic and growing company.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Warehouse team in line with Leadership Expectations and tools to develop, coach, and guide its members to ensure a workforce that is competent, engaged, and enabled to meet Jotun’s current and future needs.
Lead the Warehouse team function by implementing and monitoring procedures and guidelines to ensure that Warehouse activities are compliant with local laws and regulations, ISO 9001, ISO14001 and ISO 45001, Jotun Operations System, and Jotun’s HSEQ Management system.
Responsible for HSEQ within the area of responsibility
Initiate, drive, and follow up continuous improvement activities by implementing the Jotun Warehouse Management System (WMS) and follow up through agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Arrange stock counting and activities to ensure correct inventory is displayed in the Rack System.
Keep accurate records by using Warehouse Location Barcodes and Personal Digital Assistance (PDA) scanning devices.
Cooperate with Customer Service Department (CSD) , purchasing, and planners to maintain the right stock levels.
Manage warehouse operations like receiving and picking, quality control, and expiry date follow-up.
Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing optimal layouts, inspecting equipment, issuing work orders for repair, and requisitions for replacement.
Participate in operations management meetings to coordinate activities and improvement projects.

Qualifications We Look For:
- Arabic & English Speakers are required.
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience in Warehousing (experience in 3PL Warehousing Service Provider is preferable)
