• Project Technical Requirements: Understand specific technical requirements for assigned projects, including industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Project Planning: Collaborate with the E&I Lead to create engineering plans aligning with project delivery schedules.
• Team Leadership: Lead a team of designers and drafters to deliver E&I engineering documents and plans.
• Technical Knowledge: Understand Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation requirements as per project specifications.
• Raise RFI (Request for Information) when needed. Deep knowledge of E&I requirements in the oil and gas industry.
• Equipment Selection: Select equipment according to hazardous area classifications.
• Standards and Compliance: Apply international standards (IEC, NEC, NFPA, etc.) in engineering deliverables.
• Design and Specifications: Prepare technical drawings, function specifications, datasheets, and single line diagrams.
• Ensure designs meet standards and customer requirements. Perform detailed calculations for manufacturing, construction, or installation standards.
• Technical Bid Evaluations: Prepare TBEs for sub-vendor technical offers. Review and approve sub-vendor engineering documents.
• Coordination and Communication: Conduct multidisciplinary clash checks and ensure maintenance access.
• Communicate with clients, internal departments, and vendors.
• Support Activities: Support bid evaluations, site construction activities, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing).

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of cumulative experience in E&I engineering within the oil and gas sector.
• Understanding of E-houses, Process modules, and FPSO (Floating Production Storage and Offloading).
• Proficiency in software tools like AutoCAD, Navisworks, Smart Instrumentation, and DIALux for lighting calculations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in both main office engineering departments and site offices.
