Sales Director

Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a leading engineering software simulation company in Dubai, a prominent leader in engineering solutions that drive innovation in industries such as Aerospace & Defense and Oil & Gas. Our client is looking to hire an experienced Sales Director to lead and manage our clients Sales Team for Territory accounts and prospects. This role involves developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to drive business growth, increase market presence, and meet revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership and Management: Oversee and mentor sales teams across multiple regional offices in the Middle East and parts of Africa, ensuring alignment with the company's sales strategy and objectives.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators, providing regular feedback and guidance to regional sales managers and team members. Report progress and KPIs to senior management.
- Strategic Planning: Develop strategies to identify and target key territory accounts and prospects. Create comprehensive sales plans for new business acquisition, renewals, and market expansion. Align the sales team with these strategies and take ownership of the overall revenue targets.
- Partnership Development: Establish and manage a network of sub-partners or joint ventures to cover additional countries in the region, complementing the overall sales strategy and objectives.
- Forecasting and Reporting: Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of sales activities and revenue projections, both comprehensively and by region.
- Sales Process Management: Oversee the sales process in Salesforce CRM from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a robust pipeline of opportunities on a quarterly basis for each regional team.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with the marketing and inside sales teams to synchronize marketing and sales strategies to achieve company goals.
- Client and Partner Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Industry Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our solutions and services.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: At least 10 years of sales experience, primarily in the software industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a sales team management role overseeing more than 20 sales personnel.
- Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the Middle East market.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic and Tactical Thinking: Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.

- Possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales-focused role within the Security/IT sector, coupled with a strong grasp of the regional channel market.
- Hold an Engineering degree.
- Exhibit a robust network within the local Channel landscape.
- Demonstrate adept sales skills, including attentive listening and the ability to tailor presentations to meet individual customer needs.
- Display agility in swiftly understanding new products and solutions, effectively closing deals by aligning them with customer requirements.
