We are seeking a highly skilled Venture Development Coordinator. The ideal profile includes relevant experience in venture-building or adjacent fields (startup member, venture capital, accelerators, incubators, corporate innovation, venture studios, private equity, M&A). Experience with academic spin outs or science-backed innovation is a plus. Experience in Dubai or UAE market is highly desired. The ideal candidate will possess a degree from a reputable institution in either business or applied/life sciences – or proven professional experience that corresponds to a degree.

Key Responsibilities:

- Evaluate markets and commercial opportunities for a wide range of science-backed projects

- Support the roadmap design and implementation of several venture-building milestones: technical pilots, market validation, go-to-market, and growth 

- Conduct due diligence, prepare investment memos, and pitch decks for funding rounds

- Collaborate with internal teams and across a number government and industry partners

- Prospect commercial and technical and partnership opportunities in the UAE and overseas

- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders

Skills

Degree from a reputable institution, MBA / Master and above preferred - or corresponding professional experience

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant fields (venture studios, VCs, incubators/accelerators, M&A transactions, consultancy). Experience in startups is equally relevant.

- Proven ability to perform detailed financial analysis, including budgeting

- Excellent communication and presentation-creation skills in English (Arabic is a strong plus)

- Strong ability to navigate between deeply analytical tasks and many public-facing activities.
