Summary:
Jordan Ahli Bank is seeking a talented English Creative/Copywriter with strong Public Relations skills to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, ideally from an advertising agency background, and a deep familiarity with media outlets in Jordan. This role requires expertise in crafting compelling English content for all bank touchpoints and executing effective PR strategies.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Craft and produce high-quality English content for various channels, including our website, social media, press releases, and marketing materials.
- Develop and implement strategic PR campaigns to enhance the bank’s public image and brand presence.
- Manage media relations, including drafting English press releases from Arabic source, pitching stories, and organizing media events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create cohesive and impactful messaging across all communication platforms.
- Conduct research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and media landscape changes.
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns and content strategies, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Oversee content development for corporate communications, including English speeches, presentations, and executive messaging.
- Assist in crisis communication efforts by preparing statements and managing media inquiries during challenging situations.
- Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to support marketing and PR initiatives.
- Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery and consistency of messaging.
- Ensure all content aligns with the bank’s brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in creative English copywriting and public relations, preferably within an advertising agency.
- Proven track record of working with media outlets in Jordan.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English.
- Strong understanding of PR strategies and content marketing.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
