Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s financial activities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Intercompany Transactions Coordination: Manage and coordinate all intercompany transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Salary Transfers: Oversee the transfer of employee salaries in accordance with the Wage Protection System (WPS) requirements.

Bank & Petty Cash Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank and petty cash reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Closing Processes: Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.

External Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors to prepare the yearly balance sheet and facilitate the audit process.

Asset Management: Record, track, and manage company assets, including calculating and recording depreciation.

Day-to-Day Accounting: Oversee day-to-day accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Cash Flow Management: Prepare monthly cash flow statements to meet the company’s operational needs and financial planning.

Project Financial Reporting: Submit monthly reports detailing the financial status of ongoing projects.

Vendor and Contractor Payments: Manage weekly payments to company vendors and contractors, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

Invoice Management: Enter and manage invoices to support the company's accounting needs.

Scope of Work:

Submit monthly reports on the financial status of projects.

Prepare and submit monthly cash flow reports for the company.

Ensure weekly payments to vendors and contractors are managed efficiently.

Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, including entering invoices and managing accounts.

Skills

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

4-6 years of relevant experience in accounting within the fitout and decoration industry only.

Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards and WPS.

Experience with financial reporting, cash flow management, and audit coordination.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
