Charterhouse is currently working with a growing facilities management company in the UAE that is looking to hire a Facilities Manager (hard & soft service) to work onsite with one of their global clients.
About the role
This is a great opportunity to join a growing facilities management division within the Middle East. They have multiple clients across the region and the Facilities Manager will have the opportunity to work with one of their major clients that has a global presence.
This role will have many responsibilities including overseeing and managing all specialized Maintenance and Facilities Management services of the building including Civil Works, MEP installations, Lifts, Escalators, Fire Fighting, Alarm Systems, Access Control, CCTV, Low Current Systems, Third Party Inspections, Consultants, etc.
The Facilities Manager will also be required to maintain and build relationships with internal members of the team and sub-contractors. This role will be held accountable for budgeting and KPI’s set by the client, ensuring everything is actioned in a timely manner.
About you
The successful candidate should have 10+ years of experience working within the FM sector, have 5+ years of experience working in a managerial role and hold a degree in electrical, mechanical, civil engineering or related field.
The ideal candidate will be someone that is familiar with hard and soft services and should have previously worked on the client side. Excellent communication skills in English are essential for this role. The IFMA and MEFMA certifications are preferred for this client.
Our client is established and well known within the region; it would be a bonus if the candidate has worked for large scale FM companies in the UAE previously.
