Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Maintrol in daily handling and remedy of aircraft technical defects ensuring applicable corrective actions are identified and taken where necessary.
- Monitor and receive the issue of applicable fleet Airworthiness Directives, assess and process within the MITS.
- Monitor and receive the issue of applicable fleet Service Bulletins, assess and process within the MITS.
- Monitor and receive the issue of applicable non mandatory fleet OEM Service Information, assess and process within the MITS.
- Define and administer a reliability programme for each applicable aircraft type operated.
- Assure the impact of scheduled or unscheduled embodied repairs, changes, or modifications where applicable to W&B, Technical Documentation or Procedures are assessed and actioned at time of embodiment.
- Receiving, review, processing requirements when applicable, and archiving of engine trend analysis reports.
- Defect analysis of repetitive and significant defects.
- Repair analysis for correctness of the applicability of the tech data used and the certification path applicable to the registry & applicable Type Certificate requirements.
- Assist the Maintenance Programmes Engineer to prepare and update an approved AMP for each aircraft operated with regard to each specific aircraft configuration definition.
- Assist Maintrol to provide telephone support to flight crew to coordinate away from base maintenance support when necessary.
- Support Maintrol in pre-input meetings with contracted AMO if repair or modification is planned.
- Assist Maintrol to provide oversight for scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance of the contracted AMO.
- Assist Director Flight Operations in preparation of MEL
- Assist Quality & Safety departments in MOC or investigations of a technical or CAMO procedural matter.
- Liaison with OEM’s in technical or administrative matters where necessary.
- Assist the CAM in the necessary activities of aircraft fleet induction, ARC or export / phase out.
- Other duties as assigned by Director Maintenance or outlined in other company issued technical publications within their scope of competence.
Skills
Minimum Qualifications / Experience:
- 8 years previous experience in a Technical Services or CertifyingTechnician/Engineer role.
- Previous experience on any 2 of the 3 following OEM's corportae jets. (Airbus, Bombardier, Dassault, Hawker)
- B1/B2 aircraft maintenance license or equivalent degree qualification in Aircraft Systems Engineering
- Experience of defining and administering a reliability programme.
- Experience of modification analysis including configuration, ICA, Operational, W&B and ELA impacts.
- Experience of MEL preparation
- Experience within a maintenance control centre MCC
- Experience of major modification, STC, embodiment and project management.
