This pivotal role involves overseeing and coordinating construction activities to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and adhere to established timelines and quality standards. Responsibilities:
- Supervise construction activities and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to facilitate timely project completion
- Monitor and report on construction progress, addressing any issues that may arise
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure all work meets relevant standards and regulations
- Manage procurement processes for materials and equipment
- Enforce health and safety regulations on the construction site
- Resolve disputes and ensure effective communication among team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Mega-Project Project within GCC in Project Controls environment
- Demonstrated experience managing construction projects successfully
- Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and equipment
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia
- PMP certification is a plus
