Position Overview: The Showroom Manager will oversee and manage the operations and performance of our retail showroom specializing in a wide range of building materials including Jacuzzis, tiles, sanitary ware, bathtubs, shower cubicles, sanitary fittings, bathroom and kitchen accessories, gypsum and metal ceiling systems, ceiling suspensions, and wood and partition products. You will lead a team to deliver exceptional customer service, achieve sales targets, and maintain high standards of showroom presentation.
Responsibilities:
Drive sales by effectively managing the showroom floor, ensuring all customers receive prompt and courteous service.
Provide expert product knowledge and advice to customers, guiding them through their purchasing decisions.
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to foster repeat business and customer loyalty.
Recruit, train, and supervise showroom staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
Set clear performance expectations, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback and coaching to maximize team performance.
Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock availability and minimize stock-outs.
Implement effective merchandising strategies to showcase products attractively and optimize sales.
Conduct regular stock checks and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
Oversee daily showroom operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security measures.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Maintain showroom cleanliness, organization, and visual standards to enhance the overall customer experience.
Analyze sales performance, trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Requirements:
Educational -Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
Experience: AT least 15 Years of Experience in Operations/ Commercial or same industry. Proven experience in a senior executive leadership role within the building materials or construction industry.
