What you’ll do?

  • Lead and manage the driver operations team, ensuring timely delivery of key performance targets related to driver engagement, trip fulfillment, and service reliability.
  • Spend 30% of your time on team management, leading driver initiatives, and handling external suppliers (taxi and limo). 70% of your time will focus on operational improvements such as creating driver rationalization models, tracking KPIs, and optimizing driver performance.
  • Ensure compliance on critical metrics such as trip acceptance, trip completion, and mode compliance scores.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams to enhance driver and customer Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and improve overall service quality.
  • Design and implement driver incentive programs to increase driver engagement and reduce churn.
  • Manage the spread of driver supply across peak times to optimize utilization and efficiency, ensuring supply growth meets customer demand.
  • Own and improve driver performance metrics like trips per hour and driver earnings per hour, ensuring high service quality and profitability.
  • Organize and execute strategic campaigns aimed at making Zed the top choice for drivers within the competitive marketplace.
  • Oversee on-call operations, handling escalations and ensuring smooth resolution of any driver-related issues.


Who You Are?

  • 7+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in ride-hailing, last-mile delivery, or a 3PL marketplace.
  • Proven track record of managing driver operations with a focus on improving driver performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Proficient in data-driven decision-making, with strong skills in tools like SQL, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Experience with stakeholder management, working cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operational teams.
  • Strong leadership skills, capable of managing both internal teams and external suppliers to achieve high standards of service delivery.
  • Hands-on experience in operational excellence, including optimizing driver performance, reducing churn, and improving overall supply chain efficiency.
