We are currently looking for a
Customer Service Executive to join our team in our award-winning business in the Middle East.
This role sits within the busy and growing Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) Customer Service Team, reporting to the Head of Customer Service / Senior Customer Service Representative. The main areas of responsibility include ensuring timely and efficient order management from receipt to dispatch, managing day to day enquiries from customers and Middle East sales representatives regarding order flow management.
Key duties include:
- Responsible for executing timely response to customer and sales rep enquiries regarding order and stock status updates, including prompt issuing of certificates of analysis, technical documents and shipping documentation and product back-order status updates.
- Liaise with other internal departments including logistics and admin to ensure timely order flow management.
- Be familiar with internal sales and invoicing systems.
- Generate proforma invoices where customers are required to pay upfront.
- Assisting with customer complaints and where necessary raise Salesforce Cases to log and monitor complaint through to resolution and raise credit notes and replacement order requests where necessary.
- Responsible for new customer account creation to include issuing and receiving new credit application agreements, work with accounts department to ensure timely set up of new accounts, liaise with relevant internal departments to ensure timely completion of customer supplier questionnaires.
- Be familiar with, and where necessary, participate in order taking and processing.
- Act as backup for other Customer Service departments within organisation and when colleagues in the Customer Service team are not available.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Middle East sales team to understand commercial priorities.
- Keep up to date with new product launches and updates provided by marketing departments.
Knowledge, skills and experience required includes:
- Customer Service experience essential
- SAGE & Salesforce experience is highly desired
- Understanding of Middle East import regulations and documentation requirements highly desired
- Previous experience in the Food Safety Business is an advantage.
