About the role

We are looking for a Business Analyst to strengthen the Finance department, based in Dubai and reporting to the Business Analyst Manager. The position oversees the monitoring of the business performance worldwide with a focus on key sales growth drivers. This position acts as a key business partner for Commercial, Marketing, FP&A & Supply Chain, promoting best practices and providing monthly business performance analyses (Sell-in, Sell-out, stock) for efficient decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Performance Analysis:

• Accurate & timely preparation of monthly Sell-in report for the use of top management
• Monitor Sell-out performance: data consolidation & key performance indicators analyses
• Gather Market insights (rankings, market share, competitive environment)
• Explore new tools to automate sales performance analyses & reporting and ease communication
• Other ad-hoc studies (in collaboration with Marketing department mainly)

Pricing:

• Maintain & update of retail prices and price structures databases
• Liaison & collaborate with all key stakeholders during yearly retail prices review process, ensuring alignment with global pricing strategy
• Support of all subsidiaries with SAP by Design customized pricing module update

Project development:

• Participate in new product development by closely collaborating with various departments, organizing data in a coherent manner, and challenging information as necessary (product margin, project ROI, distribution)

Role - Specific Skills:

• Fluency in English, French is a plus
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, high proficiency in Microsoft Powerpoint
• A first experience with SAP by Design and/or data visualization tools (Power BI, Looker Studio) is a plus
• Analytical skills, problem-solving approach, ability to deal with large amount of data and develop condensed insights/conclusions
• Attention to details while having the ability to step back and look at the bigger picture
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a complex, time sensitive and fast-paced work environment
• Entrepreneurial drive, ability to take initiative and work independently
• Team player, with proven ability to work with all levels of management and communicate in a concise manner.

Desired Background and Experience:

University degree in Finance or Business required

3-4 years of relevant experience, ideally from a Retail background
