Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Finance Controller / Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our hospitality business, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and driving financial performance. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in hotels and restaurants, and a deep understanding of UAE tax laws, VAT compliance, and cost control.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management:

• Oversee financial operations across multiple restaurants, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with local laws.

1. Tax and VAT Compliance:

• Manage tax filings, VAT returns, and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations.

1. Cost Control:

• Optimize costs through effective stock management and inventory control.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.

1. Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for stakeholders.

1. HR & Payroll Management:

• Supervise payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to labor laws.

1. Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Develop and manage financial projections, including annual budgets and forecasts.

1. Financial Analysis:

• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

1. Compliance & Regulations:

• Ensure adherence to UAE’s latest financial regulations and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in hospitality finance (hotels/restaurants).
• In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT and tax laws.
• Expertise in cost control, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• A professional accounting qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA is preferred.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools relevant to the hospitality industry.
