Are you ready to take the next step in your accounting career? ALTERF SERVICES, a reputable accounting firm in the UAE, established since 2016, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to become a valuable member of our Sharjah-based team.

*Position:* Accountant

*Key Responsibilities:*

- Verify, post, and reconcile accounts payable and receivables.
- Daily recording of financial transactions for diverse clients.
- Generate precise accounting reports and present them to clients.
- Handle day-to-day finance and accounting operations for multiple clients.
- Foster and nurture customer relationships.
- Analyze expenditures, revenue, and budget variances, providing insightful reports.
- Ensure timely monthly consolidated financial statements and management reports.
- Perform month-end accounting activities, including reconciliation and closing entries.
- Conduct internal audits, ensuring compliance with procedures, policies, and regulations.
- Identify process improvements and advise on necessary changes.
- Calculate and submit VAT returns promptly.
- Perform bank reconciliations for multiple banks.
- Monthly preparation of Profit and Loss statements.
- Efficiently manage project deadlines.

*Requirements:*

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, or equivalent.
- Certifications or partial certification (ACCA, ACA, CPA, CMA, MBA finance) is a plus.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks and ZOHO Books, is advantageous.
- Candidate must be based in the UAE.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
