This position will perform duties at a professional level with attention towards the delivery of client engagements. The responsibilities include managing and reporting of engagements across our service portfolio to client expectations, budget and delivery deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Managing daily tasks and review deliverables
• Perform varying levels of accounting services to business clients
• Prepare/review and post journal entries
• Process payroll and periodic tax returns
• Prepare or review reporting deliverables
• Manage advisory and other engagements

Requirements & Skills

• Minimum 5+ years professional experience in the accounting and payroll
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Problem solving and consultative skills
• Proficiency in accounting software packages (training will also be provided) and Microsoft Office applications Word and Excel
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work with little to no supervision
• Project/engagement management and Is deadline driven
• Have experience working with clients across a variety of businesses
• Be driven, motivated and excited to succeed
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with overtime required at certain times
• Must be detail-oriented and organized
• Minimum bachelors in accounting and Ideally holding a professional qualification
