A global multi-strategy investment firm is seeking a Senior Trading Application Support Analyst/Engineer to join its technology team in Dubai. This role combines front-line trading application support with hands-on development work to strengthen automation, monitoring, and reliability across a multi-asset trading environment.You will work closely with traders, portfolio managers, and engineering teams to ensure the stability and performance of mission-critical trading systems. Key Responsibilities Support, troubleshoot, and monitor real-time trading applications across multiple asset classes. Act as the primary escalation point for issues involving both proprietary and vendor trading platforms. Work with internal teams and external vendors to resolve incidents quickly and effectively. Build automation tools and diagnostic utilities in Python or Rust. Contribute to logging, monitoring, and observability improvements. Assist with upgrades, releases, configuration changes, and UAT.Requirements5+ years of trading application support experience (buy-side, sell-side, or trading technology vendor). Solid understanding of electronic trading workflows. Experience with at least two major trading platforms (e.g., EMS/OMS or execution systems). Practical development experience in Python or Rust for automation and tooling. Strong troubleshooting skills across multi-system environments. Familiarity with SQL, APIs, FIX, and Linux/UNIX. Clear communication and comfort operating in time-sensitive trading environments. Ability to participate in global shift and on-call rotations.
